Florida, EE.UU. (Servicios Informativos AOL Latino).- Ida, debilitada a tormenta tropical, pero aún peligrosa, se aproximaba esta noche a la costa sur de Estados Unidos, en el Golfo de México, en donde las primeras bandas de lluvia ya provocaron inundaciones.

VERAPAZ, El Salvador (AP) - Las lágrimas rodaban por el rostro severamente golpeado de Elsy Portillo mientras caminaba el lunes detrás de ataúdes con los cuerpos de su madre y de su único hijo en este poblado enterrado por un deslave masivo, uno de varios que mataron al menos a 130 personas a nivel nacional.

- Qué aprobó el Congreso y cómo te afecta
WASHINGTON, D.C..- La Cámara Baja aprobó un plan de reforma de salud que permite a los indocumentados comprar seguro médico con su dinero en el intercambio de pólizas que crea dicha reforma, pero me pregunto si este lenguaje un poco más benévolo sobrevivirá el proceso de conciliación con la versión que apruebe el Senado que hasta el momento, sí contempla la prohibición.

Poco antes de la medianoche del sábado la Cámara de Representantes aprobó por un voto de 220 a 215 el proyecto de ley H.R. 3962 conocido como el Acta de Cuidado Médico Accesible.
